What an exciting month March was. The children loved learning about dinosaurs, Spring and Africa! It was fun to visit each of the classrooms and see what they were learning. I loved seeing the primary students try and see just how big the dinosaurs were by having the children lay down side-by-side and our teachers trace around them! The children were amazed at just HOW BIG those animals really were. The children also enjoyed making African art by paining savannah pictures and designing African masks.
We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day and wore green! The children learned about Leprechauns and Irish traditions and culture. At the end of the month, we had our first spring egg hunt. What a blast! The children could barely contain their excitement as they ran across the playground hunting for hidden eggs. The Walkers class was especially intrigued. With each egg they found, they would stop, open it, and explore its contents. It was so cute to watch them explore and discover.
