January was a great month of setting into old routines after returning from the Winter Break. We have welcomed new families and staff and will continue to do so as the months continue. In the classrooms, we learned about Winter Animals and Hibernation. Hopefully, many came home talking about all they have learned about the process and animals who sleep the winter away. We learned about the continent of Antarctica and who works there, what animals live there and what the climate is like. Children learned the difference of what the continent looks like on a globe vs. a map and why it is so cold!
