December 2020 Recap:

In December, our students thoroughly enjoyed the school's theme Celebrations Around the World. They learned about the Winter holidays and traditions of Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas. The month's book was The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, which taught the children an essential message of creating a balance of giving and taking. All the students created beautiful artwork such as Menorahs, holiday decorations, and their families' holiday gifts.

Our students had many exciting topics during circle time, including discussions on respecting others' holiday traditions, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, and even shared their favorite Holiday books. Our Primary and Kindergarten classes studied Europe's countries, landmarks, and flags for their Geography lessons. It was amazing to celebrate all the world's holiday traditions with each student. We all wanted to say a big thank you to all the families for spending the holiday season with us.
